The Alocasia Black Velvet is a hard to find plant with stunning dark velvety foliage that is a must have for any serious plant collector.
They will thrive in a warm, relatively humid and well lit position away from direct sunlight and direct draughts.  Keep the soil moist but not soggy in summer and allow the top of the soil to dry before watering in winter.
Alocasias are toxic if ingested to both humans and animals, so keep away from children and pets!
